Lviv artist. Oleg restored monuments in Lviv’s Lychakiv Cemetery and sculptures by Pinzel at St. George’s Cathedral. Oleg Kapustiak took part in sculptural symposia in Ukraine and Belarus, group and personal exhibitions, in particular, in the All-Ukrainian Sculpture Triennial, the Great Sculpture Salon at the Mystetskyi Arsenal, the sculpture salon in the framework of “Anna-Fest” and others. Kapustiak’s works are in the collections of the Lviv National Art Gallery, the Taras Shevchenko National Museum in Kyiv. His objects are presented in Lviv, Minsk, Gurzuf.
Oleg wraps the volumes by the area of the map. They contact each other and create a new silhouette. Another form is another unexpected image. The flat map disappears as new space geometry appears. There is a certain intrigue, because the map of a real object becomes a map of the world – an irreal object.
