Ukrainian artist. Born in Rozdilna city, Odesa region. Lives and works in Kyiv. In 2004 he graduated from Odesa State Art School named after M. B. Grekov, in 2010 – National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv. Since 2008 he has been actively participating in group exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. Among the personal projects: “Adaptation”, “Synchronicity“, “Rebranding” in the art center “Ya Gallery”. Anton also participated in the curatorial projects of Olexander Solovyov “Independents” and “Space Odyssey 2011” (Mystetskyi Arsenal) as well as in the project “Doctrine-light” curated by Olilha Milentiy as part of the parallel program of Venetian Biennale.
As a child, Anton often came to visit his grandmother and grandfather in the Odesa region, where the nature inspired him to creativity. Many years later, the landscapes of Edem Resort revived childhood memories of the mighty winged oaks and led to the idea that in order to develop, a person must cross borders and break standards. Anton Logov embodied this idea in the composition of trees, which break through the roof of the house to new heights. The symbol of the “tree of life” also has a biblical interpretation: the knowledge of good through good. And for Ukrainians, the spiritual tree is a traditional embodiment of a place of peace and comfort, which PARK3020 can become for guests.
