
Kostiantyn was born in Kyiv in 1971. He studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. In 2002, he received a fine arts grant from the President of Ukraine to create a monument to Feodor Chaliapin and Kostiantyn Korovin in Hurzuf. He has been working as a teacher at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture since 2005. In 2014, he won the first prize at the All-Ukrainian Triennial of Sculpture, while in 2017, he won the third prize.
Sisyphus UA is the metaphysical transformation of ancient Greek myth into contemporary cultural and historical space, its stylistic adaptation to the Ukrainian identity. It’s the personification of a complex personality image with an irresistible desire to invent something irrational and create their own lifestyle algorithm.
