Oleh graduated from the College of Arts named after Adalbert Erdeli and the Lviv National Academy of Arts, majoring in Metal Art.
He is one of the founders of the Three Ivans workshop and co-organizers of sculpture symposiums that attract sculptors from all over the country. The sculptor works on two projects at the same time – small and gallery. But he also dreams of creating a sculpture for a city in the future.
To make sculpture contemporary art develop in Ukraine abreast with the world, Oleh Putrashyk and his associates plan to actively communicate with their colleagues, meet, organise symposia and exhibitions and invite sculptors from all over the world to these events.
The world around us, which we live in and concern to, subjects to certain systems directly relating with us or, regardless of our existence, shaping the universe. The cycling of certain processes makes you wonder about the existence of infinity. And this desire to understand the incomprehensible will always exist.
Since human life is a test that we go through – they leave imprints on us. The metal pins of this sculpture are themes of trials, but they are not pointed, because every time we pass these tests they do not kill us, but only temper us to the future adventures of this beautiful life.
This work encourages you to always be a winner in your life. He calls on the viewer to move on, to know that everything is within her power and what test and fate did not throw up to cope.
