Born in Donetsk region. Graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture with a degree in easel and monumental sculpture. Currently lives and works in Kyiv. Among the outstanding projects: Interdisciplinary Festival GOGOLFEST (2014, 2016), CANactions sculpture competition (Kyiv, 2014), Stone Symposium (Mykolaiv on Dniester, 2015), exhibition of non-figurative sculpture CORPUSCULUM at the Institute of Contemporary Art (Kyiv, 2015) etc.
The sculpture “Duo” is a part of the cycle “Dualis”. Each object is actually integral, but it looks as if it consists of two parts. This series of works speaks of the duality of the world, in which consciousness and matter are equivalent organic substances. The artist gives the classical material a new life in abstract modern sculpture.
