Kazimir Malevych is the father of Suprematism, who was born in Ukraine. All his life he emphasized in every way that his artistic vision of the world was formed by Ukrainian patterns. The square as a shape in this object conveys a sense of dynamics and mysticism.
As flamboyant as Salvador Dali, the Ukrainian David Burliuk went over big artist during his lifetime. The internationally renowned artist is still little-known in Ukraine.
Burliuk repeatedly highlighted that he was a Ukrainian who wanted to develop Ukrainian art.
My work is a tribute to an excellent Ukrainian whom his fellow countryman should know about.
