Ukrainian sculptor. Born in Lviv. Yurii graduated from the Lviv National Academy of Arts, and later from the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Art. Since 1982 he has participated in more than 100 international and national symposia, exhibitions and art actions. His works are stored in public and private collections in Ukraine, France, the USA, Slovakia, Turkey, Poland, Cyprus, Russia, Greece, Switzerland, Egypt, Latvia.
The author demonstrates the movement of light in holes formed by a soft rounded shape. It seems to absorb light and emit it from the opposite shadow side with a bright ray. The play of rays can be seen during the day, capturing the morning and evening light.
