Ukrainian artist and member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Born in Kafan, Armenia. Currently lives and works in Kherson. Famous for its easel compositions and monumental sculptures, among them: the bronze monument to Prince Potemkin in Kherson and the Scythian pectoral.
In his thoughts, the artist reaches into past worlds. He is fond of sculpture in India, Egypt, Mexico, trying to find a link between antiquity and the present. In his works, the sculptor seeks the moment of truth, the trembling movement of time. Once these dominants are found, the work will gain an independent life. In the composition “The beginning” a rapid line shines on the birth of a new being, whose future is not yet decided, rolled into a ball.
